Privacy notice
Draft for review. This notice is a plain-English starting point, not legal advice. Fill in every [PLACEHOLDER] and check it against the laws that apply to you before the sign-up goes live.
This notice explains what Meducer Audio collects when you join the Meducer beta list, why, and how to get off the list.
Who we are
Meducer Audio ([PLACEHOLDER: legal or trading name]), [PLACEHOLDER: business address]. Contact: [PLACEHOLDER: privacy contact email].
What we collect
Your email address, and only that, if you choose to enter it in the "Join the beta" form.
The sign-up form isn't connected yet. Until it is, submitting it sends and stores nothing.
Why we collect it
- To invite you to the Meducer beta.
- To tell you when Meducer launches, and send occasional news about it.
We use your email address for nothing else. We don't sell it or share it for anyone else's marketing.
We rely on your consent, which you give by signing up. You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing.
Who handles it for us
Your email address is stored by our email provider, [PLACEHOLDER: provider name, e.g. the mailing-list service you choose], which sends our emails on our behalf. [PLACEHOLDER: where the provider stores data, e.g. EU / US, and the safeguards it uses].
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or [PLACEHOLDER: e.g. 12 months after Meducer launches], whichever comes first. When you unsubscribe we remove you from the list.
How to unsubscribe
- Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email from us, or
- Email [PLACEHOLDER: privacy contact email] and ask us to remove you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or object to how we use it. Contact us at the address above to do any of these. You can also complain to your data protection authority: [PLACEHOLDER: e.g. the ICO in the UK].
Cookies, analytics and tracking
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts, and doesn't track you. Like any website, our hosting provider ([PLACEHOLDER: Cloudflare or Netlify]) processes basic technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Changes
If we change this notice we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address, we'll email you first.
